14 Minutes: A Service Event

Education in Zion, in partnership with the BYU Center for Service and Learning and LDS Humanitarian Services, is hosting a service event to bring school supplies to underprivileged children.

“A foundational theme of Education in Zion is an emphasis on educating the soul by developing of all our spiritual and intellectual faculties,” said Ann Lambson, curator for Education in Zion. “We enhance our own educational experience by seeking to bless the lives of others through love and service.“

Participants will be preparing pieces of children’s school bags, following which the pieces will be sent to Humanitarian Services to be assembled.

Join Education in Zion, the Center for Service and Learning and LDS Humanitarian Services and help improve education for children all over the world. The event is free, and will be held in the in the stunning exhibition gallery, located on the east side of the Joseph F. Smith Building (JFSB) on the BYU campus.
